Giuseppi's Pizza

'Giuseppi's Pizza' is my fourth Gameboy game released on Itch, I hope you enjoy it. I took inspiration for the game from a brilliant game over at Pico-8 called Coffee Maker, and decided to recreate the game but using Pizza. Please try the Pico-8 version and give shinpansen a favourite for making such a great game.

Mechanics are very simple, a list of pizza ingredients is shown at the bottom of the screen, and all you have to do is hit the corresponding d-pad button to place it on the pizza base. There is a topping time limit, however, it's fairly generous, and  life penalties for incorrect ingredients placed. I added a rating system for completists and a hidden level for the pizza expert to discover.

I learnt quite a bit from making this game, I made more use of scripting and prefabs to save some time, finally mastered the auto save function, and worked a little more with the colour, which I have really neglected in the past.

Once again, I am staying with the play for free in-browser method, but if you want to support my work or find the game fun, please think about purchasing the ROM for $1.
